Loaded Leopard onto a Tiger

Postby Robert » Thu Apr 07, 2011 11:06 am

I have a mac book which was OSX 4.0.11 ???? operating system and then backed it up with an external drive before loading Leopard. After loading leopard the icons on desk top blinked on and off, the dock disappeared and Safari quit often. Those seem to have fixed themselves, but now my computer runs SLOW `SLOW. The colored ball spins and spins. It took me 91 seconds to open a Pages document from the desktop when the document was on the desktop. It took me 4 minutes to open Safari, get a website and open a topic on that site. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can fix this other than installing more RAM?
Has anyone used the GEEK squad at Best Buy for problems, and have they been helpful?
Thanks for the help
Bob

I'd take it in to Strong and see what they can do for you. Definitely sounds like you need more RAM. You can find their address and number on the front of this website.
