Yes, I did. Interestingly, I used our second computer (iTunes Store authorized) and was able to get it working again. I thought, since both computers are authorized on the same account, that I could go back to the first computer and sync all the music I'd loaded. It froze again. I came back to the second computer, went through the restore steps and it is still frozen.
